Initial Coverage
Police in Arizona issued a Turquoise Alert for a 13-year-old who vanished Friday, reportedly following an argument with loved ones.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, Skyler Conville was last seen in Apache Junction at a Circle K parking lot Friday afternoon, a little after 1 p.m., at Meridian Drive and Supersition Boulevard.
She fled her home following a family fight and refused to get into the family vehicle, AZ Family reports.
Police stated Skyler left on foot, walking southbound when a early 2000s white Chevrolet Impala four-door sedan (with damage to the front bumper on the driver’s side) pulled up. She got in the vehicle with an unknown male.
The vehicle headed west on Superstition Boulevard. Security footage later showed the male driver, who appears to be in his 50s or 60s.
