A South Carolina woman is behind bars after police say she allowed numerous men to sexually assault her young daughters for illegal drugs and money.
According to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, police arrested Helena Nichole Hoyle, 27, on August 14 and charged her with two counts of chid neglect and two counts of trafficking persons.
Court documents indicated that on August 3, law enforcement began investigations following accusations that Hoyle allowed men to sexually assault the children, ages 4 and 7, on different occasions.
The oldest child told investigators that she had been sexually assaulted numerous times by random, unknown men. The 4-year-old couldn’t provide additional details, other than she and her sister had been touched inappropriately by numerous men.
On one occasion, Hoyle was allegedly in the room during a sexual assault. The Post and Courier reports that Hoyle sat on the floor and scrolled through TikTok on her phone while the assault took place.
Meanwhile, the victims told law enforcement that they lived in deplorable conditions. They reportedly had no running water and no way to use a toilet or brush their teeth.
Hoyle remains in the Berkeley County Detention Center with a $250,000 bond.
