Texas authorities issued an AMBER Alert Thursday, in connection with a missing 7-month-old girl last seen in San Antonio’s Southside.
The Texas Department of Public Safety issued the alert for infant Ozana Cisneros, who was last seen June 10 at around 6 p.m., in the 330 block of a Roosevelt Avenue residence, near Lowell Street.
On Friday, according to KSAT News, police located the child’s mother, 19-year-old Maximina Cisneros, at a home off of Parkview Drive.
She was taken to an area hospital in “stable condition,” although the reason for medical attention has not been shared.
According to KENS 5, the FBI’s Evidence Response Team arrived at the home on Friday afternoon.
Ozana, who remains missing, is considered to be in grave or immediate danger, prompting the alert, officials said. It’s unclear why authorities didn’t issue the alert in June.
Numerous agencies, including the FBI, Texas Department of Public Safety and the Texas Rangers, are currently assisting in the search.
Ozana is described as standing 2 feet tall, weighing around 20 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes
