A 40-year-old California man accused of killing his daughter’s mother inside her Los Angeles home was spotted near the Mexico border Sunday.
According to NBC Los Angeles, security footage captured Ruben Fregoso at a San Ysidro parking garage with this daughter, 5-year-old Daleza Fregoso, shortly after 7:30 a.m.
The man assumed to be Fregoso had Daleza with him while carrying luggage.
As CriminalEnterprise reported, Daleza was last seen May 24 near Alsace Avenue and Ferndale Street in Los Angeles, at around 4 a.m.
On May 25, police found Fregoso’s a 2019 Land Rover Discovery inside the parking garage, located at the San Ysidro Port of Entry, on the Mexico border.
On May 26, the Los Angeles Police Department released a statement indicating that authorities found her deceased mother inside a home in the 2600 block of South Alsace Avenue.
“Preliminary investigation indicates the victim died as a result of violence,” police said.

Daleza is described as standing 3 feet tall and weighing around 45 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.
Fregoso is described as standing 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing around 200 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
