The FBI is seeking tips on a 4-year-old South Carolina girl who has not been since Tuesday.
According to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, Javeayah Harris was last seen at around 8:15 p.m., at Hillsboro Street and Ridgecrest Road, just outside the Aiken area.
Multiple law enforcement agencies are currently assisting in the search. The FBI is conducting ground searches and interviews, while deploying air units, including drones and helicopters.
Authorities are not asking for volunteer searchers at this time.
Loved ones described Javeayah as “smart, talkative, and friendly,” who likes to chase chickens. She also likes Minnie Mouse, NBC 4 reports.
Javeayah is described as a Black female who stands 3 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs around 42 pounds. She has braided hair with pink beads, and was last seen wearing Minnie Mouse pajamas and Crocs.
Authorities are asking residents to check small spaces, sheds, under decks, and any areas where a small child could hide.
