At least 23 people were wounded Sunday night gunshot erupted during a fight at a large, unsanctioned party at an Oklahoma park.

Three people were still in critical condition Tuesday morning, while four more were listed in serious condition at Integris Health hospitals, according to KOCO. The company said 10 people were taken to Integris Health Baptist in Oklahoma City, and three other were treated at the hospital in Edmond. Three of the ten people taken to Oklahoma City have been released, and they ranged in age from 16 to 30.

The conditions of the remaining 10 people was not known.

According to Edmond Police, officers responded to a report of gunfire near Scissortail Campground at Arcadia Lake. They did not say if all 23 people taken to hospitals were shot or if they were injured in some other way during the chaos.

In a news release, police said the shooting took place during an “unsanctioned party that began after dark and was advertised across multiple social media platforms.” The party drew a “large crowd of young adults from across the metro area,” police said.

Officials said the party organizers had not reserved any section of the park for the party, which attendees said drew some 250 people, KHOU reported.

The party had been advertised online as “Sunday Funday” with food, drinks, music, and “good vibes, good people.”

Witnesses told KOCO that a fight broke out before the shooting; police have not confirmed that report.

No arrests have been reported, and police have not said if they have any suspects in mind. Anyone with information is asked to call 405-359-4438.
